Restlessness has set in. It seems to be the aftermath of a large project nearing completion. The knitting is all done for the Plus Cardigan book (due out at the end of July), with more editing still to be done. I go from project to project not quite knowing what to do. Started 2 socks and abandoned them. So I've been scarf knitting.
The long view.
The short view.
This is a zigzag scarf from the accessories section of the
Teens and Tweens booklet . The pattern is really interesting to knit and I was contemplating doing another one even after working 6' on this one. I can't tell you what wool it is. Told you, totally scattered, lost the tag. I'm sure you recognize it if you're into colourful fingering wool. Started another scarf today in blue hand-dyed wool, in a different pattern. Got inspired after watching this video
25 ways to wear a scarf in 4.5 minutes.

Very cute video. Thanks for the link, Deb.
ReplyDeleteI get the same restless feeling at the end of a project. In fact, I'm in that same phase right now, although your scarf might have inspired me to settle down (maybe). Love the video.
ReplyDeleteLovely yarn and pattern.
ReplyDeleteHi Deb. It is refreshing to hear that I'm not the only person who goes through periods of stop and start and indecision and ripping -out and ... I'm currently emerging from one of those phases but, not at the end of a large project. Rather in the middle of it. I was getting tired (and bored) with it so dabbled in a bunch of other ideas for a while. Hopefully back on track.
